Institutions experimenting with targeted MOOCs

The University of Michigan and Harvard are seeing success with efforts to tap into specific populations using the free online courses.


This is consistent with the contention that the sweet spot for MOOCs (in particularly c-MOOCs) may well be in informal learning. That’s not a bad thing considering as much as 80% of learning happens informally.
